The group makes visits to varying places of worship, usually Parish Churches in the county of Hertfordshire or over the borders into Essex and Cambridgeshire.
Our hosts give us extremely informative talks about their church history, architecture, religious allegiance, notable "residents" both within the building and within the churchyard, famous family connections etc. after which any questions are invited.
The opportunity to explore both church and churchyard follows before we depart for an optional lunch at a local hostelry.
