Day Trips
A variety of day trips with an educational theme are organised throughout the year often picking up Blue Badge Guides en route.
A number of different tastes are catered for using comfortable coaches with toilet facilities and drivers we know. The journey on the coach should last around an hour and a half before our first stop.
Holidays
Holidays are organised in Spring, Summer and Autumn every year lasting up to five days.
All holidays are organised through an ATOL bonded travel agent.
Note: You will need to organise your own travel insurance as u3a Public Liability insurance does not provide Personal Accident cover.
Departure Points
NB there may be additional pick up points for holidays
- Amwell Roundabout bus stop (A1170)
- The Priory, High Street, Ware
- Fire Station, Baldock Street, Ware
- Wodson Park, Ware - buses stop in the turning circle on the roundabout*
* Coaches are no longer able to go into Wodson Park.
For days out, parking at Wodson is increasingly difficult, due to their need for spaces. Please consider an alternative joining point, for example, the Priory where there is a car park or the car park opposite the Fire Station in Baldock Street. They both have all day parking. There is also a small car park in Kingsway.
