Riverhill Himalayan Gardens - Thursday 18th June

Beautiful hillside garden in Sevenoaks, privately owned by the Rogers family since 1840, with extensive views across Weald of Kent. 

Expect the unexpected from the manicured perfection of the undulating terraces of the famous Walled Garden with frothy fountains, to the wild Jungle, fragrant Rose Walk, Wood Garden and spectacular Edwardian Rock Garden, carpeted with ferns.

There is also a cafe serving locally-baked cakes and pastries, hot toasties and paninis.

Please note that this is a group booking and any individually held cards do not apply at all, i.e. Gardeners World, RHS and HHA.

Visit to Highclere Castle (Downton Abbey) - Thursday 23rd July. Due to high demand a second date of Thursday 30th July has been arranged.

The castle has been transformed from its roots in Anglo Saxon times to a medieval palace, a Tudor place house, a Georgian house and today this iconic Victorian Castle.

It sits within a park designed by Capability Brown in the eighteenth century which are open for you to explore. You can also get access to the Egyptian Exhibition which is open throughout the year.

There is a tearoom for refreshments however, they do not offer vegan food, and a Gift Shop that sells practically everything.

Smugglers Essex - 17th September

Starting with a visit to Mersea Island carrying on with smuggling tales to Mersea and Maldon; famous for its sea salt.

As well as a 10th Century Battle Maldon has a fine collection of Thames Barges on the historic Hythe Quay where lunch can be taken.

After lunch the day continues to the Dengie Peninsula and to Burnham on Crouch with its famous yachting centre for a final short stop to finish the day.
