The group explores and discusses:
- The latest RESEARCH on climate change and the environment and the positive actions taken around the world to create a greener planet;
- the areas where COMMITMENTS TO CHANGE are being made with emphasis on food, fashion, energy, waste and plastic etc.;
- the identification of the ACTIONS we can personally take to inspire our friends, family and locally.
The group is open to all Ware u3a members. No previous knowledge or experience necessary.

Terry Over, a Trustee of the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) talked to the group at their May meeting about the amount of water individuals and families use. Anne the leader of the Making a Green Impact Group put together a piece based on the talk entitled Water: The Forgotten Challenge which you can read here.
