The group enjoys weekly meetings in a social, relaxed and friendly setting. Members take it in turns to host sessions and long standing members take it in turns to plan activities.

We aim to learn German by reading, speaking, listening and writing the language. We would like to think that we have moved beyond the 'phrase book' language, so do grapple often with the grammar of German. Use is made of a course book with exercises and video/audio material. A German magazine, downloaded from the internet, makes everything very relevant.

This is a mental challenge but we are rewarded with some success!
